It all started just under a century ago, when five young men came together in a small cellar in the centre of Reykjavik to develop the means to produce hard boiled sweets.
In 1933, the small company learned the ways of chocolate production and began to manufacture real Icelandic chocolate – a product that has been a firm favourite among the Icelandic population ever since.
This rich chocolate is produced exclusively with natural ingredients of the highest quality. The milk is sourced from Icelandic cows, the salt from the wild Atlantic ocean that surrounds the island, and the cocoa from suppliers certified as sustainable.
NÓI SÍRÍUS chocolate is available in three different varieties:
- 56% EXTRA BITTER DARK CHOCOLATE 100G
- 33% MILK CHOCOLATE WITH TOFFEE AND ICELANDIC SEA SALT 100G
- 70% EXTRA BITTER CHOCOLATE WITH SEA SALT 100G
The taste of a nation: with an unforgettably intense flavour, all three chocolate varieties embody the untamed, mystical landscape of Iceland.
